On June 2022, a fight between a customer and a KIA manager broke out.
The video went viral on social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook.
In 2023, the video was circulated on social media platforms again.
In the video, a KIA manager pushed the door open, knocking a smaller man aside.
He then shouted at another man, presumably a customer.
The customer then tackled the KIA manager from his legs and the video was cut.
According to the official Petawawa KIA SUPER STORE page on Facebook, they said that the manager was fired.
“Dear Petawawa Family & Friends, on behalf of Petawawa Kia, we extend our sincerest apologies for the serious inexcusable misbehavior of our former Floor Manager”.
“We strive on providing excellent customer service and expect nothing but the highest form of ethical conduct and customer service of all our employees”.
“We, hope that the behavior, we witnessed today, isn’t overshadowed by the majority of positive daily customer interactions and experiences at Petawawa Kia, and we hope to continue to earn your business and trust”.
“We can assure you that the former employee, has been terminated and is no longer working for Petawawa Kia”.

The post got over 800 reactions and more than 130 shares.
The video was posted by @takatak68 on YouTube and got over 10k views.
It’s only 6 seconds long and it was cut off after the customer tackled the manager.
According to a Reddit thread, the customer in the video was trying to get their deposit back.
The person behind the camera is the customer’s wife and she stopped recording as soon as her husband tackled the manager.
In the video, the manager called the customer’s wife something inappropriate.
That triggered the customer into attacking the Kia manager, defending his wife.
