In another tweet, they said that Amazon does not have the right to publish the game in any other regions.
Hence, if you’re living in SEA, you won’t be able to download the game without a VPN.
Since there isn’t an OCE or SEA server, players in those regions have a very high ping.

How to play Lost Ark in South East Asia
To play Lost Ark in South East Asia, you need to use a free VPN like ProtonVPN.
Using a VPN allows you to bypass the region block and download Lost Ark.
You just need to connect to a region where the game is available in.
Lost Ark is available in the United States, so you can connect to a free United States VPN.
After you’ve downloaded the game, it will be located in your Steam library.
Step 1: Use a free VPN (e.g. ProtonVPN)
- Download a free VPN like Proton VPN: https://protonvpn.com/download.
- Open Proton VPN and create a new account.
- Connect to a VPN where Lost Ark is available in (e.g. US-FREE#1).
Proton VPN has multiple free VPNs that you can connect to.
Lost Ark is available in the United States, so connecting to a US VPN is highly recommended.
You can also connect to a Europe VPN.
Step 2: Get the game on the store.steampowered.com
- Go to store.steampowered.com.
- Search for “Lost Ark”.
- Click on “Play Game” or purchase the game.
If you’re connected to a VPN where Lost Ark is available in, you’ll be able to view and download it.
