What Does the Promosm Comment Mean on YouTube?

Promosm

Promosm is a spam comment on YouTube that’s used to promote a service called PromoSM.

PromoSM is a social media promotion platform that claims to grow your followers, likes, views, subscribers, and more.

The comment is posted by bots, mainly on new YouTube videos, as a form of advertisement.

The service offers YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook engagement.

However, the likes, comments, followers, etc. that you’ll get are fake because they are made by bots.

The next time you see a “Promosm” comment on YouTube, know that it’s a scam.

So don’t bother to try the service because you’re not going to get real engagement.

How to stop Promosm comments on YouTube

To stop Promosm comments on YouTube on your videos, you need to block the word from your community settings.

To do so, go to YouTube Studio, log in to your account, and select “Settings”.

After you’ve selected “Settings”, select “Community” and scroll down to “Blocked words”.

Lastly, enter “Promosm” into the field along with variations of the word (e.g., Promo SM, Promo-SM).
