How to Fix Runescape Stuck on Signing In Forever

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix the stuck on endless loop of signing in or logging in in RuneScape 3 (for both the Jagex Launcher or client).

How to Fix Runescape Stuck on Signing In Forever

Here’s how to fix the RuneScape sign in loop:

  1. Close the RuneScape Client and the Jagex launcher.
  2. Go to protonvpn.com, scroll down, and select “Get Proton Free”.
  3. Select “Continue with free” and create an account.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and download Proton VPN.
  5. Connect to a free VPN like the US, Canada, or the UK.
  6. Open the Jagex launcher (it should fail to sign you in).
  7. Close the Jagex launcher.
  8. Disconnect the VPN.
  9. Open the Jagex launcher, sign in, and play RuneScape!

Editor’s note: This is the only solution I’ve personally tried that worked and successfully signed me in to RuneScape.

TDLR; Connect to a VPN, open the Jagex launcher, close it, disconnect your VPN, and open the Jagex launcher again.
