How to Fix Sound Not Working in Umamusume: Pretty Derby

To fix the sound not working or audio issue in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, try enabling or disabling spatial sound.

You can also try disabling headphone services, setting in-game sound to 100%, or setting your default sound device properly.

Fix 1: Enable/disable spatial sound

  1. Search for “Sound settings” using Windows Search and select it.
  2. Scroll down to “Advanced” and select “More sound settings”.
  3. Select the “Playback” tab, right-click your default sound device (e.g. Speakers).
  4. Select “Properties” and select “Spatial sound”.
  5. Select the dropdown box and set it to “Windows Sonic for Headphones”.

  1. Right-click the Bluetooth icon in the system tray and select “Show Bluetooth Devices”.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select “More devices and printer settings”.
  3. Right-click your headphone and select “Properties”.
  4. Select the “Services” tab.
  5. Turn off “Handsfree Telephony”, “Remote Control”, and “Remote Controllable Device”.
  6. Launch Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Fix 3: Set in-game sound to 100%

  1. Launch Umamusume: Pretty Derby and go to the main menu.
  2. Navigate to the audio settings and set all of the volume bars to 100%.

Fix 4: Set Default Sound Device

  1. Select the sound icon in the system tray and set the volume to 100%.
  2. Select the sound output icon and select the souynd device you’re using for the game.
  3. Launch Umamusume: Pretty Derby
