How to fix “SSL Connect Error” in Apex Legends

To fix the “SSL Connect Error” in Apex Legends, you need to sign in to the EA website.

After you’ve signed in to the EA website, accept the terms and conditions and restart Apex Legends.

You can also try disabling the 2-step verification in your EA account.

You can sign in to your EA account using a PC or a mobile device.

Make sure to sign in using the platform that you’re playing the game on.

For example, if you’re playing the game on a PS4 or PS5, you need to select the “PlayStation” sign-in option.

Fix 1: Sign in to the EA website and agree to the terms

  1. Go to https://www.ea.com/.
  2. Click on the profile icon > Sign In.
  3. Select PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or other sign-in options (depending on the platform that you’re playing the game on).
  4. Accept the terms and conditions with EA.
  5. Restart Apex Legends and the error should be fixed.

Fix 2: Sign in to the EA website and disable 2-step verification

  1. Go to https://www.ea.com/.
  2. Click on the profile icon > Sign In.
  3. Select PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or other sign-in options (depending on the platform that you’re playing the game on).
  4. Account Settings > Security > Login Verification > Disable > Save your changes.
  5. Restart Apex Legends and the error should be fixed.
