X introduced a new feature that allows users to check an account’s location.

It shows where the account is based in and the country where the app was downloaded on.

For example, if you’re currently in the US, it will say that your account is based in the United States.

Which country you downloaded the app from will also be stated (e.g. Connected via United States App Store).

  1. Open X and navigate to your profile.
  2. Select the join date on your profile (e.g. Joined May 2019).
  3. Select the Settings icon on the top right.
  4. Enable “Use Region / Continent”.
