To open The Crucible Nornir Chest in God Of War Ragnarok, you need to complete 6 trials in 3 arenas.

After you’ve completed 6 trials, the chest will be unlocked.

Here are the trials that you need to complete to open the chest:

  • F Rune Arena: Defeat elementally-shielded enemies within 1:40 seconds (Weapon Mastery) and defeat 15 enemies without taking damage (Flawless).
  • N Rune Arena: Two rounds of throwing orbs dropped by defeated enemies into a Realm Tear before time runs out (Feed the Rift) and Defeat 22 enemies while taking constant damage, but recover health by dealing damage (Health Steal).
  • R Rune Arena: Defeat the elite whilst managing an enemy count (Population Control) and Keep enemies outside of the rings until time runs out (King of the Hill).

The chest contains a weapon upgrade called “Chaos Flame” used to upgrade the Blades of Chaos.

Here’s its description, “A small flame that has no source, but burns in all directions. Generated through mighty battles”.
