How to Do “The Secret of Al-Ahmar” in Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact released a 3.1 update called the “King Deshret and the Three Magi”.

You can gain Primogems as compensation rewards for the maintenance time.

The update includes new characters, domains, equipment, and more.

A quest in the game is The Secret of Al-Ahmar

You need to hit a certain requirement to unlock those quests.

For instance, you may need an adventure rank of 40 and above.

Some quests are difficult to complete because of certain objectives.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to do the “The Secret of Al-Ahmar” quest in Genshin Impact.

How to do “The Secret of Al-Ahmar” in Genshin Impact

To do “The Secret of Al-Ahmar” in Genshin Impact, you need to follow the quest markers until you reach King Deshret’s Mausoleum and open the 4 coffins.

You also need to find the archaeology team, Benben, and guide 2 Primal Embers to light up 2 structures in the Opet Hall.

Part 1: Follow the quest markers

1. Enter the secret passage behind the mura and ride the elevator.
2. Follow the quest marker to King Deshret’s Mausoleum and defeat the opponents.
3. Follow the quest marker to continue exploring.

Part 2: Try to open the coffin

1. Go to the northwest marker > use the four-leaf sigil > release the Primal Ember > follow it to open the 1st coffin.
2. Go to the southwest marker > navigate to the carving of a statue on the wall > stand in front of it > jump > go on top of the platform > release the Primal Ember > follow it to open the 2nd coffin.
3. Go to the northeast marker > avoid the fire trap > open the door on your right > proceed forward > go right > use the four-leaf sigil > release the Primal Ember > follow it to open the 3rd coffin.
4. Go to the southeast marker > climb up the stairs > go left > go left > use the four-leaf sigil > release the Primal Ember > follow it to open the 4th coffin.

Part 3: Find the archaelogy team and Benben

1. Activate the elevator and climb up the stairs to reach the quest marker.
2. Follow the quest marker to find the archaeology team and defeat the Fatui.
3. Follow the quest marker to find Benben.
4. Defeat Samail and the Fatui.

Part 4: Proceed deeper into the ruins

1. Go north rotate the 2 cells until they face the door to open it, and go inside the area (to the first quest marker).
2. Pick up the Forged Primal Light, stand on top of the replicator keystone, and release the Primal Ember.
3. Guide the Primal Ember to the Opet Hall until it lights up the structure on the right.
4. Go to the second quest marker (where the Primal Ember is locked with a red barrier).
5. Pick up the Forged Primal Light and move the cell closest to the wall to open the door.
6. Pick up another Forged Primal Light directly behind the opened door, go inside the room, stand on top of the replicator keystone, and rotate the cell.
7. Go out of the room and move the cell on the left of the opened door to unlock the Primal Ember and release ot.
8. Guide the Primal Ember to the Opet Hall until it lights up the structure on the left and the large door will open.
9. Go inside the room and reach the quest marker to complete the quest.
