How to fix “This experience is restricted by your Parental Controls” in Roblox
To fix “This experience is restricted by your Parental Controls” in Roblox, you need to disable account restrictions.
You need to also increase the age in the Allowed Experiences setting and verify your age (you need to be 17+ to play all experiences).
Fix 1: Disable Account Restrictions
- Open Roblox and log in to your account.
- Settings > Privacy > Account Restrictions.
- Disable the “Account Restrictions” setting.
Fix 2: Increase the age in Allowed Experiences
- Open Roblox and log in to your account.
- Settings > Privacy > Parental Controls.
- Enable the Parent PIN and set a pin.
- Change the “Allowed Experiences” age to 13+ or 17+.
Note: If you want to change the “Allowed Experiences” age to 17+, you need to verify your age.
Fix 3: Verify your age
- Open Roblox and log in to your account.
- Settings > Account info > Personal.
- Set your birthday (you need to be 17+ to play all experiences).
- Select “Verify My Age”.
- Scan the QR Code with your camera app.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your age.
