How to Turn on Voice Chat in Overwatch 2

To use a microphone in Overwatch 2, you need to turn on “Push to talk” and set a key bind.

To do so, press “Esc” on your keyboard and select “Options”.

Next, select Sound > Voice Chat > Voice Chat Mode > Push to Talk > Push to Talk Keys.

Lastly, set a key bind for “Voice Chat: Push to Talk” like “V”.

When you press and hold “V” on your keyboard, your microphone will pick up your voice when you talk.

If your microphone is not working, make sure that you’re not muted by pressing “M” on your keyboard to unmute yourself.

To turn on voice chat in Overwatch 2, you need to enable the group, team, and match voice chat.

After you’ve enabled these settings, set your voice chat mode to “Push to Talk” (for PC) or “Open MIC” (for consoles).

If you’ve set it to “Push to Talk”, you need to add a key bind to it like “V”.

When you press and hold “V” on your keyboard, your microphone will pick up your voice when you talk.

On the other hand, “Open MIC” will pick up your voice at all times.

  1. Launch Overwatch 2 and press “Esc” on your keyboard.
  2. Select Options > Sound > Voice Chat.
  3. Set “Group Voice Chat” and “Team Voice Chat” to “Auto Join”.
  4. Set “Match Voice Chat” to “On”.
  5. Set your Voice Chat Mode to “Push to Talk” or “Open MIC”.
  6. Select “Apply” to save your changes.

The default key bind for “Push to Talk” is the “`” key, which is next to the “1” key.

If playing the game on a PC, it’s recommended that you change it to “V”.
