To fix “Unable to Install” in Valorant, you must change the date on your computer to a day before (or older).

You can also try deleting the Vanguard services using the command prompt and restarting your PC.

Fix 1: Change the date

  1. Search for “Date & time settings” using Windows Search and open it.
  2. Turn off “Set time automatically”.
  3. Select “Change”.
  4. Change the date to before January 4 (e.g. 3 January 2026).
  5. Select “Change”.
  6. Try installing Valorant again!

Fix 2: Delete Vanguard services

  1. Search for “cmd” using Windows Search and open it as an administrator.
  2. Type the following codes, one after the other, and press enter:
    • sc delete vgc
    • sc delete vgk
  3. Restart your PC.
  4. Try installing Valorant again!
