How to Fix YouTube Recap 2025 Not Showing

Is YouTube 2025 Recap not working, not showing up, or missing for you?

Recaps are personalized playlists and statistics about your favorite channels, genres, music, and more.

They are made based on your watch history and music listening history across YouTube.

It gets an update each time a new yearly or seasonal Recap is ready and you can always save them.

In this guide, you’ll learn why your YouTube Recap 2025 is not showing up or not working and how to fix it.

Why is my YouTube Recap 2025 not showing up?

Your YouTube Recap 2025 is not showing up because you didn’t hit one or more of these requirements:

  • Have at least 4 hours of music listening per season
  • Have at least 10 hours of music listening from Jan 1–Nov 15
  • Have at least 2 hours of podcast listening (only if Recap-eligible)
  • Keep watch history ON during the Recap period
  • Make sure auto-delete is OFF (or not deleting after 3 months)
  • Do not mostly listen to made-for-kids content
  • Do not use Google Podcasts migrated shows
  • Do not use podcasts added by RSS feed
  • Have the YouTube app (Android 18.43+) or YouTube Music app (Android 8.47+)
