How to Add Social Media Links to Your YouTube Channel

Are you looking to add social media links to your YouTube channel?

You can link your Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, Snapchat, and other social media platforms.

When you link a social media platform to your YouTube channel, it’ll show up on two places.

For example, if you’ve included an Instagram link, it’ll show up in the “About” section.

It’ll also show up in your YouTube channel’s banner, but it can take 24 hours to appear.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to add social media links or buttons to your YouTube channel (add Instagram and Twitter to your banner).

How to add social media links to your YouTube channel

  1. Go to YouTube Studio and log in to your account.
  2. Select “Customization” on the left sidebar.
  3. Scroll down and select “Add Link”.
  4. Enter the link title (e.g. Instagram).
  5. Enter the URL (e.g. instagram.com/username).
