Why can’t I invite friends in Warzone 2?
You can’t invite friends in Warzone 2 because there’s a bug with the social tab.
If you select the social tab, the “Status” pop-up will appear.
The “Status” pop-up will say that it’s fetching your online profile.
However, it crashes after a few seconds and you’ll land in the main menu.
According to Raven Software on Twitter, they are currently working on a fix for the social menu.

How to fix can’t invite friends in Warzone 2
To fix can’t invite friends in Warzone 2, you need to go to the channels page (by selecting the headset tab) and select your party.
After you’ve selected your party, select “Invite to Channel”, select the friends that you want to invite, and select “Invite to Party”.
Here’s how to fix “Can’t invite friends in Warzone 2” (expand the screenshots above):
- Instead of going to the social tab, select the headset tab.
- Under “Game Channels”, select your party.
- Select “Invite to Channel”.
- Select the friends that you want to invite and select “Invite to Party”.
This is a temporary way to bypass the social tab bug in Warzone 2.
By inviting your friends to join your party, you’ll be able to play multiplayer with them.
