How to Enable Angle Snapping Mouse

Angle snapping is a feature found in some PC mice that helps users draw straight lines or smooth curves by slightly correcting the movement of the mouse.

The program allows users to use a mouse acceleration style similar to QuakeLive across your entire operating system and any game.

It also works regardless of whether it uses RawInput, DirectInput, or other protocols.

The program uses the Interception Driver to capture mouse movements before sending them to the operating system.

It modifies them according to the same math as QuakeLive and Interaccel.exe is the program that performs live mouse acceleration.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to download, turn on, use, or enable an angle snapping mouse for games like Valorant and CS:GO.

How to enable angle snapping mouse

To enable the angle snapping mouse, you need to download InterAccel.zip, extract all files, and install the driver.

After you’ve installed the driver, download Visual C++, restart your PC, and edit the config file.

In the config file, you need to set a value for “Angle Snapping” to use it (e.g. 26).

  3. Download “InterAccel.zip”.
  4. Right-click “InterAccel.zip” > Extract All > Desktop.
  5. Open the extracted files > driver > double-click “driver_install”.
  6. The command prompt will open and press any key.

Step 2: Download Visual C++, restart your PC, and edit the config file

  1. Go to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170.
  2. Install the X64 version of Microsoft Visual C++.
  3. Restart your computer.
  4. Open the “InterAccel” folder that you’ve extracted earlier.
  5. Open “application (64 bit)” > open “interGUI”.

You’ve successfully enabled angle snapping on your mouse!
