To do so, you need to run “sc delete vgc” and “sc delete vgk” in the command prompt.

These couple of commands will delete the Riot Vanguard program.

But don’t worry, the programs will be automatically installed when you launch Valorant again.

  1. Search for “cmd” using Windows Search.
  2. Run the Command Prompt as an administrator.
  3. Close Valorant and Riot Client.
  4. Type “the sc delete vgc” and press “Enter”.
  5. Type “sc delete vgk” and press “Enter”.
  6. Launch Valorant and the CPU issue will be fixed.

The commands “sc delete vgc” and “sc delete vgk” will delete the Vanguard program from your PC.

You can also uninstall the program by opening the Control Panel, selecting “Riot Vanguard”, and uninstalling it.

If that doesn’t fix the “User Mode Service” high CPU error, you need to completely resinstall Valorant.
