In this quick guide, you’ll learn the answers for The Underground Lab in Edgewood Mansion in Escape Simulator.
This includes staring eyes, the clock, the animals, zebra lock, animal species, lock box, and the door.
1. Staring Eyes

Collect the book next to the Staring Eyes.
There are multiple highlighted phrases in the book.
This includes:
- The narrow eyes color of gold.
- Azure sea with a round island in the middle.
- Fallen leaves, with an endless hole to nothingness in the middle.
You need to find 3 eyes that relate to the 3 highlighted phrases.
Eyes color of gold = gold, azure sea = blue, and fallen leaves = brown.
Hence, the 3 eyes are gold, blue, and brown.
Collect the key behind the Staring Eyes.
2. The Clock

The clock contains 4 patterns.
There are 4 plant pots with different patterns.
Each of the patterns relates to a plant pot.
To solve the clock, you need to see the color of the butterflies that lands on each plant pot.
The purple butterflies land on the striped pots.
Hence, you need to point the clock hands with the purple butterflies to the striped symbols.
The green butterflies land on the dotted line pot.
Hence, you need to point the clock hand with the green butterflies to the dotted line symbol.
The yellow and blue butterflies land on the dotted line and striped pot.
Hence, you need to point the clock hand with the yellow and blue butterflies to the dotted line and striped symbol.
Point the clock’s hands according to the screenshot above.
Collect the key in the middle of the clock.
3. The Animals

There are 4 animal models including the Elephant, Zebra, Lion, and Deer.
There are animal footprints all over the room.
You need to count the number of footprints per animal.
- Elephant: 6 footprints.
- Zebra: 3 footprints.
- Lion: 6 footprints.
- Deer: 4 footprints.
Click on the switch to turn on the power.
Collect the key.
4. Zebra Lock

Take the Zebra from the display.
To solve the Zebra lock, you need to count the number of green stripes it has per leg.
Each leg is marked with a number (1, 2, 3, and 4) on each of the Zebra’s hoof.
The first leg contains 5 green stripes, the second leg contains 4 green stripes, the third leg contains 1 green stripe, and the fourth leg contains 3 green stripes.
Hence, the combination to the lock is 5, 4, 1, 3.
Collect the note, eagle tile, and lock box inside the cabinet.
5. Animal Species

Collect the frog tile from the clock and the fly tile from the elephant display.
Collect the rose tile on the ground and the snake tile on the ledge.
Now, you need to display the tiles according to the food chain.
You can refer to “The Origin of Species” book for this.
The correct order is rose, fly, frog, snake, and eagle.
Collect the key.
6. Lock Box

Collect the first note under the power switch.
Collect the second note under the leaf on the ground.
Combine the 3 notes together to form a mouse drawing.
The mouse drawing contains 3 clues.
Here are the 3 clues and what they mean:
- The first was the number of limbs = 8 limbs.
- It was followed by limbs touching the π = 6 limbs (touching the circle).
- The final number is the ones pointing westwards = 3 limbs (pointing west).
Hence, the combination to the Lock Box is 8, 6, 3.
Open the Lock Box and collect the final key.
7. The Door

Now, you should have accumulated 5 keys.
Insert the keys into the 5 keyholes of the door.
You’ve successfully escaped The Underground Lab in Edgewood Mansion!
