How to Fix Facebook Messenger Story Not Showing

Facebook Messenger is linked with Facebook.

This means that stories that you’ve posted on Facebook can be seen on Messenger as well.

Your friends can also see your stories on both Facebook and Messenger.

Sometimes, the story option might not be showing on the Messenger app.

If that’s the case, you won’t be able to see your stories or your friends’ stories on the app.

In this guide, you’ll learn why is the story option missing and how to fix Facebook Messenger story not showing.

Why is the story option not showing on Messenger?

Story option not showing on Messenger

The story option is not showing on Messenger because you’re logged into a Facebook page.

You’ll have limited social features if you’re logged into a Facebook page.

A personal profile allows you to share information about yourself by posting photos, videos, and text.

On the other hand, a page is where artists, public figures, businesses, and more can connect with their followers.

However, a page cannot add stories and can only post.

Hence, if you’re logged into a Facebook page, you won’t have the story option.
