To get Rare Candy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you need to look for Rare Candies—there are over 60 all across the map—and pick them up.

They are indicated by Red Pokeballs on the ground that emits a bright glow.

You can also get them by having a Pokemon with the Pickup Ability in your party or completing 6-star Terra Raid Battles.

Here are 3 ways to get Rare Candy:

  • There are over 60 Rare Candies that are scattered across the map that you can find and pick up.
  • Include a Pokemon with the Pickup Ability in your party to have a chance of picking up a Rare Candy after each battle.
  • Complete 6-star Terra Raid Battles.

Rare candies are indicated by a glowing Red Pokeball.

One of them is located in the south of South Province (Area Five) next to a rock.

What is Rare Candy used for in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Rare Candy is used for instantly leveling up a Pokemon by one level.
