Lastly, you need to open the command prompt, type “sfc /scannow”, and restart your computer.

  1. Go to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns and download the Autoruns and Autorunsc program.
  2. Right-click the Autoruns.zip file, select “Extract All…”, and select “Extract”.
  3. Right click the “Autoruns64.exe” file and select “Run as administrator” and wait for the scan to complete.
  4. Search for “vbs” in the search bar.
  5. Right-click and delete all entries that are highlighted in red and close the program once you’re done.
  6. Search for “cmd” using the Windows search bar, right-click, and select “Run as administrator”.
  7. Type “sfc /scannow”, press enter, and wait for the scan to complete.
  8. Restart your computer to fix the error.

Note: Make sure to run the Autoruns.exe file and the command prompt as an administrator.
