How to Fix Music Not Showing on Instagram Notes

Instagram Notes is a feature that allows users to share their thoughts using text and emojis.

Notes are short posts limited to 60 characters and can be shared with followers or people on the Close Friends list.

The notes appear at the top of recipients’ inboxes for 24 hours, and replies are received as direct messages.

This lightweight and casual feature provides a spontaneous way for users to express themselves and initiate conversations.

Recently, Instagram introduced the Music feature for Notes, which allows users to add songs to their Notes.

However, many users reported that the feature is missing on both iOS and Android devices.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix the music feature not showing, missing, or not working on Instagram Notes.

Why can’t I add music on Instagram Notes?

You can’t add music on Instagram Notes because the feature is not rolled out to you yet.

Currently, the Music feature for Notes is in the testing phase.

This means that only a selected number of users will have the feature.

If you don’t have the feature, you need to wait until it’s rolled out to you.

Some users reported that they have Music in their secondary account but not their main account.

Hence, you can try switching accounts to see if you have the feature.

Other users reported that the feature doesn’t show up at all.

Instagram is known to release certain features to certain countries first.

For example, beta features are usually released to countries like the US, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Asia countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc., will get the update later.
