Why am I getting an “A player that your platform denies” error?
Are you getting an “A player that your platform denies permission to play with you has joined the game” notice/error?
Here’s the second part of the error message, “Would you like to exit the lobby”.
You’re only given two options—Yes or No.
The error message is a known bug/glitch in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
It usually either happens if crossplay is enabled, when you play split screen, or if you don’t have Xbox Live Gold.

You can also try selecting “No” repeatedly or ignore the error message until the game starts once all players joined your party.
