How to fix voice chat not working in Content Warning

To fix voice chat not working in Content Warning, you can try changing the voice chat mode and selecting your microphone on Steam.

You can also try verifying the game files or restarting the game and Steam.

Fix 1: Change voice chat mode

  1. Launch Content Warning and select “Options”.
  2. Select “Audio” and select the “Voice Chat Mode” dropdown box.
  3. If you’re using “Voice Detection”, change it to “Push to Talk”.
  4. If you’re using “Push to Talk”, change it to “Voice Detection”.

Tip: The default “Push to Talk” button is “V”—to change it, select “Controls”, and change the “Push to Talk” control.

Fix 2: Select your microphone on Steam

  1. Open Steam and select the “Steam” logo on the top left.
  2. Settings > Voice > Voice Input Device dropdown box.

  3. End the task for “Steam Client WebHelper”, “Steam”, and “Steam Client Service”.
  4. End the task for “Content Warning”.
