How to Fix “We can’t send a code right now” on Facebook

Are you getting a “We can’t send a code right now” error on Facebook?

Here’s the second part of the error, “Try again in a few minutes”.

The error message happens when you request Facebook to send you an SMS code.

You must do this for 2FA, password reset, mobile number confirmation, or identity verification.

You need the code if you forgot your password and you want to reset it.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to fix “We can’t send a code right now. Try again in a few minutes” on Facebook.

Why can’t Facebook send a code right now?

Facebook can’t send you a code right now because the app is most likely down.

You can check for any service disruptions at https://metastatus.com/.

If there is a Facebook login disruption, you need to wait until it’s resolved before you can receive a code.

In some cases, the error can be caused by a bug/glitch on the app.
