You can update your privacy settings per status and share voice messages up to 30 seconds.

You can also respond to status updates from your contacts using status reactions.

If you’ve accidentally posted a status, you might not know how to delete it.

In this guide, you’ll learn how to remove or delete your status update on WhatsApp on iPhone or Android in the latest update.

How to Delete WhatsApp Status

Here’s how to delete your WhatsApp status:

  1. Open WhatsApp and tap on “Updates”.
  2. Select “My Status” under “Status”.
  3. Tap on the three dots next to the status update that you want to delete.
  4. Select “Delete” followed by “Delete 1 Status Update”.

Tip: You can delete all of your status updates at once by tapping on “Edit”, selecting all of your status updates, and tapping on the trash icon.
